From Code Blue to Coding

My name is Karen and I've created this website and podcast to not only document my journey from leaving my career as an ICU RN (intensive care registered nurse) to becoming a full stack Java software developer. I would like to add that I had ABSOLUTELY ZERO coding knowledge when I first began at the bootcamp. One of my first steps when I decided to make the change was doing what everyone usually does when they are curious about something, I looked up all the information I could get on YouTube, Reddit, Google, various podcasts, etc. The thing that stood out to me right away was that all of information already assumed you had some knowledge of coding to begin with, OR they didn't do a great job of explaining the very basics, or foundations. So as we jump in, I'll be documenting what I'm doing as far as assignments, exercises, lectures, and perhaps even a few side projects! As well what I find difficult and frustrating as I go.
